Protection and Reduction of Statelessness in U.S.

Article 13 of Universal Declaration of Human Rights: Everyone has the right to leave any country, including his own, and to return to his country.

Widespread and systematic abuse of human rights aimed towards stateless persons can exacerbate civil conflict between stateless persons and the host country they live in, can pose a threat to democracy, international peace and security, and has an impact on durable peace reconciliation, and development due to lack of mechanism protecting those most vulnerable population in our planet, deprivation of their rights, denial of fundamental freedoms, forced exile, confinement and mass expulsion including the denial of their rights for citizenship in the country they live in.
